Objectives of the Woodbury
Democratic Town Committee are:

  • To seek out and support qualified Democratic candidates for local office

  • To improve communication about matters of importance concerning Woodbury

  • To increase community involvement

  • To provide a forum for the constructive exchange of ideas, opinions, and information

  • To promote and support the state and national Democratic Party

About the Woodbury Democratic Town Committee

The Woodbury Democratic Town Committee (DTC) can have up to 18 members and 6 alternates; members of the DTC are elected to two-year terms at a bi-annual caucus of all town Democrats. Any registered Democrat who is a resident of the town of Woodbury is eligible for membership on the Democratic Town Committee. Those elected or appointed to town offices, boards and commissions are ex-officio, non-voting members of the Town Committee. Click here for the current Party Rules of the DTC (in PDF format).
