Our heartfelt gratitude to all who showed up to support and contribute to the WDTC Food Drive, on July 20, 2025.
Thanks to your generosity, 16 carts of food and $1150 in cash and gift cards were donated to the Woodbury Food Bank.
This incredible outpouring of support surpassed our previous drive in March, and reminded us of
what we can accomplish when we come together.
To everyone who took the time to stop by, drop off a donation, or simply spread the word — thank you!
The No Kings rallies on June 14 are planned as a peaceful stand against
authoritarian overreach and the gross abuse of power this Administration has shown.
From major cities to small towns, we’ll rise together and say: we reject political violence.
We reject fear as governance. We reject the myth that only some deserve freedom.
On Saturday, more than 1,800 rallies will take place across the country—peaceful, organised and united.

candidates running in this year’s Board of Education election.

CNN will host a Live Town Hall with four members of Congress representing battleground districts:
Representative Mike Lawler (R-New York), Representative Ryan Mackenzie (R-Pennsylvania),
Representative Jahana Hayes (D-Connecticut), and Representative Derek Tran (D-California).
The “American Asks Congress” town hall will be moderated by CNN Anchors
Jake Tapper and Kaitlan Collins on Thursday, April 10, at 9 PM ET from Washington, DC.
The group of lawmakers will take questions from a live and virtual studio audience comprised of
Republicans, Democrats, and Independents, including constituents from each of the member’s districts on
a wide array of topics the nation is focused on, including the economy,
the second Trump administration, the state of the Democratic party, and more.

- Which board or commission might be the right one for you to join.
Join the Connecticut Democratic Asian American caucus as we welcome Attorney General Tong to a very special conversation about how Connecticut is prepared and ready for the incoming administration.
All are welcome as we discuss the impact
of national versus state-level laws.
